The car
One inexpensive daily upgrade to the rental car price and my teenage son and I have found ourselves cruising Florida this week in a black Camaro convertible during my husband’s business trip. And people treat you differently in such a car! Groundskeepers don’t usually wave frantically at me and my ordinary SUV, teenage boys in Chargers don’t want to race me, and I don’t usually get tailed by police cars. Amazing knowledge, amazing grace
Perhaps one of the most remarkable and widely misunderstood
words in the modern world is “to know,” or its cousin, “knowledge.” The Latin

“knew” Eve in Genesis 4:1 reflects something quite different.

Forced sterilizations in India
Funded by UK aid money, poor men and women in India have their ability to offer God's gift of children to this world forcibly taken away. As a mom, I can't even imagine their pain. As we learned from the previous forum, "Eve, upon the producing of the third human being, imagines herself as a partner of God in creation. In the act of procreation, man and woman image God in a particular way." Being able to image God in this way should be a human right protected by governments--where's the outcry?

He knew his wife
Based on pages 39-42 from The Theology of the Body in Simple Language
Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, saying, “I
have produced a man with the help of the Lord.”
Genesis 4:1, ESV
They become the proud creators of new life. But this new life is created in the community
of human beings and death that is characterized by obsessive desire. Creation
and Fall, p. 145, Bonhoeffer
